CHILD: You must accept God's kingdom like a little child - Mark 10:15

People brought their small children to Jesus so that he could lay His hands on them to bless them. But the disciples told the people to stop bringing their children to Him. Jesus saw what happened. He was much displeased with His disciples telling the children not to come. So He said to them, “Let the little children come to Me. Don’t stop them, because God’s kingdom belongs to people who are like these little children. The truth is, you must accept God’s kingdom like a little child accepts things, or you will never enter it.” Then Jesus held the children in His arms. He laid His hands on them and blessed them. Mark 10:13-16

Prayer & Praise
I bring my children and grandchildren to You, Lord Jesus. Please lay Your hands of blessing on their lives and protect them from the evil one so they can live in a way that pleases You and glorifies our Heavenly Father. Thank You for teaching me, as You did the disciples, about the value and importance You place on little children. Please fill my heart with Your boundless love and compassionate care for little ones. Just as a child depends on their parents and accepts things without question, I want to mirror their heart of faith and mindset of complete trust by relying on You. Heavenly Father, I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
