They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When He had spit on the man’s eyes and put His hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?” He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.” Once more Jesus put His hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. Jesus sent him home, saying, “Don’t even go into the village.” Mark 8:22-26
Prayer & Praise
Please put Your hands on my eyes, Lord Jesus, so that they may be opened and have sight to see You, love You, and glorify You. I praise You for healing my spiritual blindness that prevented me from perceiving God's everlasting love and His eternal purpose for my life. Please guide me, Holy Spirit, to someone today whose sight and mind are blinded by the devil. I ask You, Lord Jesus, to touch their eyes and restore their sight so they can see everything clearly. I pray in Your mighty name. Amen.
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the verse and prayer of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to Christ our Savior is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory of God.
