The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment. 2 Peter 2:9
Prayer
Father, thank You for giving me understanding that godliness with contentment is great gain. I brought nothing into this world and I cannot take anything out of it. Deliver me from living a life of duplicity and sin so I can be a godly example to my family and friends. Teach me to stand for righteousness and to enjoy living a life of godliness and simplicity in Christ Jesus realizing that all that I need I have in Him. Don’t let me fall for get rich quick schemes or the lusts of the flesh that corrupt my mind, heart and spirit. In the blessed name of Jesus.
