By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:4
Prayer
Blessed Father, how great and precious are the promises that You have given me in Christ Jesus. Today I want to partake of Your divine nature so I can be transformed into the image of Your Son. Reign in me Lord Jesus through Your Holy Spirit and teach me to be an effective and productive Christian by manifesting the qualities of faith, goodness, spiritual understanding, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and generous love. Stop me from giving in to the sin that so easily defiles me and help me escape the world’s corruption and lusts by standing strong in Your promises. In the name of Jesus
