A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. Prov. 15:1
Prayer
Teach me O Lord to use a soft tone of voice to calm people down and remind me throughout the day that my words create worlds of hope or worlds of discouragement. Cleanse my mouth from harsh words and help me to be quick to hear and slow to speak so I can learn to communicate things that edify and lift people up instead of tearing them down. Grant me opportunities today to improve my communication skills and have a word in season that blesses my family, children, co-workers and friends. In the mighty name of JESUS.
Sing them over again to me, wonderful words of life
Let me more of their beauty see, wonderful words of life
Words of life and beauty teach me faith and duty.
Beautiful words, wonderful words, wonderful words of life!
Christ the blessed One, gives to all wonderful words of life
Sinner, listen to the loving call, wonderful words of life
Oh so freely given, wooing us to heaven.
Beautiful words, wonderful words, wonderful words of life!
Phillip P. Bliss--Wonderful words of life
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the verse and prayer of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "The Truth, Christ our Savior," is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
