Prayer
Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. I will humble myself under the mighty hand of God who longs to live in me. I confess Lord God that I am nothing without Jesus who is the way, the truth, and the life. I desire O Lord to be contrite in spirit and understand the importance of being broken that I may learn to not trust in myself or others but in You alone. I repent from my sins and ask You to free me from rebellion and resistance. Teach me to weep over my sin and sinners who are lost. Give me a clean and contrite heart that is absent of all personal pride that I may learn to esteem others better than myself. In the holy name of Jesus I pray
