"If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord's holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, then you will find your joy in the LORD, and I will cause you to ride on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob." The mouth of the LORD has spoken. Isa. 58:13-14
Prayer
I will delight in God the LORD who longs to fill my heart with joy. Loving Father, I desire to seek first Your kingdom in 2009 and trust You to meet all of my needs. Help me make wise choices by prioritizing the things that You want me to do each and every day. Teach me to soar above the mediocrity of this world by being obedient to Your word. Teach me to soar above the negativity of our day so I can be a positive influence for Jesus. Teach me to soar above the ways of the world so that I learn to be more like Jesus. Let me ride on the heights of the land this day. In the holy name of JESUS I pray
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
