For they themselves declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come. 1 Thes. 1:9-10
Prayer
Living Father, I turn to You this morning to thank You for opening my blind eyes. You rescued me from serving the idols of this world. You raised me up when I was in the pit of despair. You saved me from condemnation and the powers of darkness. You broke the chains of drugs, deceit, sexual immorality, hate, pride, and lust that enslaved me. You bought me with Your precious blood. You teach me to live in Your victory. You fill me with joy unspeakable. You keep me under the shadow of Your wings. You deliver me from the wrath to come. You are coming to take me home. Blessed be the name of JESUS. Amen
