And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Col. 3:23-24
Prayer
Life's greatest reward is being with Jesus for all eternity. I come to You LORD God and believe that You the rewarder of them that diligently seek Thee. Thank You for rewarding me and all of humanity with life's greatest treasure, Your beloved Son. Remind me that nothing on this earth compares to the inheritance and reward that awaits those that love Jesus. Deliver me from compromising the eternal reward of my inheritance in the Lord Christ for the passing trinkets of this world that quickly fade away. Teach me to invest in the kingdom of heaven by doing all things heartily as unto my Lord Jesus that I may lay up for myself treasures in heaven. Jesus, You are my reward, to see Your face on that day, is all I'm living for. In Your holy name I pray.
