Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. 1 Tim. 6:6-8
Prayer
Contentment is possible in Jesus Christ. Teach me O Lord Your ways that may be devoted to a life of godliness and purity. Teach me how to be content in whatsoever state I am. Deliver me from the greed of this world. Stop me from being a whiner and complainer. Teach me to count my blessings everyday that I may learn to appreciate family and friends that I sometimes take for granted. Teach me how to do all things through Christ who strengthens me and makes my life complete. In the blessed name of Jesus my Lord
