Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. James 5:7-8
Prayer
Merciful Father, I thank You for Jesus Christ who is coming again. I ask You to please fill my heart with excitement in thinking about His return. Help me to be patient like a farmer and not lose heart by backsliding into the ways of the world. Grant me strength to keep pressing forward in Your will despite all the bad that is happening in the world. Remind me that Jesus is coming back to take me to His Kingdom. Keep my mind and heart watchful and alert through prayer. In the blessed name of Jesus the Master.
