Today's Bible Promise - "The word of the LORD endures forever" 1 Peter 1:25

Because “ All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man[f] as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away, But the word of the LORD endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:24-25

Prayer
God's word never fails me. Loving Father, I want to be a blessed Christian that trusts in Your faithful promises and delights in Your word by meditating on it day and night. As 2009 comes to an end, I ask You to please speak Your words to me that I may be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bringing forth its fruit in its season, and whose leaf also does not wither. Make my heart a worthy depository of Your living word that enriches my life with unceasing hope and persevering faith. In the name of Jesus I pray

WORD OF GOD SPEAK - MERCY ME
I'm finding myself at a loss for words
And the funny thing is it's okay
The last thing I need is to be heard
But to hear what You would say

Word of God speak
Would You pour down like rain
Washing my eyes to see
Your majesty
To be still and know
That You're in this place
Please let me stay and rest
In Your holiness
Word of God speak

I'm finding myself in the midst of You
Beyond the music, beyond the noise
All that I need is to be with You
And in the quiet hear Your voice.
