Then Asa called to the LORD his God and said, "LORD, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength; so help us, O LORD our God, for we trust in You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. O LORD, You are our God; let not man prevail against You." So the LORD routed the Ethiopians before Asa and before Judah, and the Ethiopians fled. 2 Chronicles 14:11-12
Prayer
God is for me in 2010. Omnipotent Father, I want to end 2009 with an unshakable trust in You by believing in Your faithful promises and knowing that You will help me in the midst of life’s battles. My enemies are many – doubt, discouragement, pride, lust, anger, impatience, unforgiving, rebellion, selfishness, apathy, and indifference. Don't allow my enemies to have victory over me for I call upon Your name like Asa. I surrender the New year of 2010 into Your hands and ask You to help me gain new victories in life by remembering that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. In His wonderful and glorious name. AMEN!
May God crown your New Year with the grace, love and peace in Christ Jesus. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the verse and prayer of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "The Truth, Christ our Savior," is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
