Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 1 Peter 3:3-4
Prayer
Father, I want to and need to, be more like Jesus. Please form in me His character and virtues so I manifest a conduct that has incorruptible beauty. Thank You for reminding me that looks are fading and what counts before Your eyes is being a gentle Christian whose conduct honors Your name. Give me a quiet spirit that is gentle and patient with the faults and imperfections of my family, friends and co-workers for I have many that require Your mercy and forbearance. In the blessed name of Jesus.
