Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. 2 John v8
Prayer
The great and full reward is in Jesus. Lord Jesus Christ, You died to make me a winner and not a loser. Thank You for sharing my human nature in order to redeem me from hell and condemnation. With this in mind, I ask You to deliver me from carelessness and complacency. Stop me from getting bogged down with the temporal things of this world and help me to press ahead so that I don't lose out on the full reward that You have prepared for those that love You. Blessed be Your name. Amen
LIFE IS BUT A STOPPING PLACE
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay.
Our destination is in heaven,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a full and great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with Jesus our Lord
