Prayer
Lord Jesus, don't let me compromise the coming glory for the temporal pleasures of sin that this world prizes. Use sufferings, trials, and difficulties to draw me closer to You. Free my heart from all greed and covetousness. Teach me to focus my eyes on things above so I may see Your glorious kingdom to come. In Your worthy name I pray. AMEN
