Adopted: to choose or take as one's own; to make one's own by selection or assent; to take and rear (the child of other parents) as one's own child; to receive into any kind of new relationship; to select as a basic or required.
Prayer
I am a child of of God, an adopted member of His family. Abba, Father, with gratitude I thank You for saving the despised and rejected of this world. I count it a great privilege to receive Your Spirit of adoption and be accepted into Your family. Cast away all fear from my heart and help me understand that as Your adopted child, I gain all the rights of a legitimate son/daughter in Your heavenly kingdom. You are my Abba, Father. In Jesus' name, Amen.
