Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God. 1 Corinthians 4:5
Prayer
Loving Father, thank You for speaking to my heart and helping me realize that praise from You is what really counts in life. Help me to be a loving husband/wife, a model parent, and faithful employee or student that works hard to glorify You without seeking personal recognition. Deliver me from being a judgmental Christian and people pleaser that seeks the praise of people. Free me from a life of masquerade, codependency, and vain pretentiousness. Make me a genuine person that loves Jesus and lives to be praised and approved by Him. In His wonderful name I pray
