No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV
Prayer
God will never fail me. I call upon You, O Lord and ask You to give ear to my cry. Teach me to pray instead of trying to fight temptation with my own strength or abilities. Help me recognize the traps and suggestions that Satan creates in my home, workplace and school. Give me a spirit of self-denial and sacrifice that chooses to flee sinful desires and selfish pleasures that war against my soul. Enable me to make wise decisions with relationships I develop and courage in separating myself from people who find pleasure in doing what’s wrong. I trust in Your faithfulness and thank You for making the way of escape for every temptation that You want me to bear. I pray in the blessed name of Jesus
