It is I; don’t be afraid - John 6:20

Bible verse of the day

When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were frightened. But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.” Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading. John 6:19-21 NIV

Today's Prayer

Jesus takes away my fear. Lord Jesus, I invite You into my life (boat) today and ask You to help me conquer the phobias of fear that enslave my faith and mental state. Teach me to hear Your voice in times of distress and to not be afraid when I encounter difficult situations that are beyond my control. Come to my rescue and open my eyes that I may see the light of Your presence at the end of my dark tunnel. I pray in Your holy name. Amen
