This sickness will not end in death-John 11:4

Today's verse gives us abounding hope in the midst of our temporal sufferings and earthly  sicknesses that we all must face until we are transformed into heavenly beings.  

So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.” When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” John 11:3-4  NIV

Today's Prayer

I will not fear because Jesus is always near. Remind O Lord that the present sufferings or sicknesses that I am going through do not compare with the glory that shall be revealed. I cry out to You in prayer like these sisters for the sick ones whom You love and need Your healing touch. Grant me opportunities to share the gospel of salvation with family and friends who facing health issues and need strength of hope. In Your name I pray. Amen
