Blessed correction-Job 5:17

How well do you accept correction? How do you react when confronted about your inappropriate behavior? What is your reaction when your boss or supervisor confronts you about your performance? Do you listen with humility or get angry and defensive by making excuses? The Bible tells us in Proverbs 15 that a person who refuses discipline despises their own soul, however, the individual who listens to correction gets understanding. Throughout the Scriptures we read how God corrects those whom He loves because He cares for them and wants to bless them. The power to heal and the power to transform belongs to God and its never too late to change if you place your life in His hands. Do it today!

Bible Verse About Correction

Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. For he wounds, but he also binds up; he injures, but his hands also heal. Job 5:17-18 NIV

Prayer for Correction

The Lord disciplines those He loves and chastens everyone He accepts. Loving Father, I receive Your correction and ask You to straighten me out. Keep me from acting in a way that would cause another person to stumble in their faith. Change me into a fruit bearing Christian who is influential for Jesus in the marketplace. I pray in the name of my Lord and Savior. Amen.
