God gives me success-Nehemiah 1:11

Bible Verses About Success

How you define success? Ask five people to define what success means to them and I'm pretty sure that you will hear something different every time. Some people I know at work declare that success is acquiring all of the toys (material things) you want in life. Others think success is having a six-figure income or a big bank account that provides financial security. Many think success is having superior knowledge, a Masters Degree, being a real estate mogul, having a home on the beach or living in Beverley Hills. However, today's Bible verse unfolds a wonderful reality that you can have small successes in life that are meaningful. Nehemiah was a Cupbearer for his king. He held an important position in the kingdom where he served and wanted to have success with relationships at work and asked God for help. I've learned that true success in life comes by humbling myself before God who wants to prosper my efforts and all I have to do is ask for His help. It's wonderful to know that God desires to be active and engaged in my life that I may learn to succeed on a daily basis. God defines success by helping others succeed. As I look back in my personal and professional life, I am a witness in telling you that my success in marriage, raising my children, supporting family members, dealing with challenging relationships, making career and business decisions, managing my finances, serving in church ministries, and life itself comes from God who is a loving Father. God wants to help you succeed today so turn to Him in prayer and mediate on the song by Mercy Me - "Bless Me Indeed."

Bible Promise for Success

Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man.” I was cupbearer to the king. Nehemiah 1:11 NIV

Prayer for success

The LORD will give me success today. Lord Jesus, I praise You for opening my eyes to understand that success in life is not found in the abundance of things that I possess, but in the number of people I am able to help by bringing them to faith in You. Grant me success today and give me favor with people who have never heard the gospel of Your love. In Your name I pray.
