In fact, unless the Lord shortens that time of calamity, not a single person will survive. But for the sake of His chosen ones He has shortened those days. Mark 13:20

- "But we are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because GOD CHOSE YOU from the beginning for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth; to which He called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14
Prayer & Praise
I will not fear times of calamity because the Good Shepherd, Christ Jesus, watches over me. I trust in Your unfailing promises, Abba Father, that never fail and always come to fruition just as You have proclaimed throughout history. I praise You, Lord Jesus, for choosing me and appointing me to bear fruit that enriches and strengthens people's faith in God in times of trouble. Holy Spirit, help me stay steadfast in the truth and faithful to Jesus Christ during times of trouble, as the world has experienced with COVID. Fill my heart with assurance of hope that God is Sovereign over all and He has the power to shorten the days of suffering for those Christ has chosen. Use me today to help comfort someone who is dealing with a personal calamity and feels forgotten. Let this living truth, "You have been chosen and are loved by Jesus," set them free from their pain. I pray for their healing and salvation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
