Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer. 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2 NLT

Prayer to be rescued from evil

Jesus comes to my rescue. Thank You O Lord for for being my protector who sticks with me and rescues me from the powers of evil. I need You Jesus to come to my rescue. Please put a hedge of protection upon my family and rescue them from demonic oppression. Use me this day to spread Your message of love and life to captive souls who You want to rescue from the prison house of sin. In Jesus' name I pray.

To my loving and patient wife, Michele, my beloved son David, my radiant daughter-in-law Blair, my cherished son Joshua, my compassionate daughter Anna, my steadfast son-in-law, Jeff, my empathetic daughter Christina, my go-getter son-in-law Miles, my bright and persevering granddaughter, Blake, my beautiful and tenderhearted granddaughter, Zoey, my strong and handsome grandson, Wyatt, my tender-hearted and precious granddaughter Talia, my jubilant and adorable granddaughter, Romi, and to all of my caring family and faithful friends. I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I ask you to please forgive me if I've wronged any of you and did not ask for your forgiveness. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
