NEW: The Lord Jesus makes you a new you - Mark 2:22

“No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear is made worse. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.” Mark 2:21-22

Praise & Prayer
I lift my hands in praise, Lord Jesus, and thank You for removing my heart of stone that was callous and rebellious and giving me a new heart of flesh, so I can learn to obey God, and love others as You love. Please remove my old garment of self-centeredness and clothe me with a new God-centered garment so I may live to please our Father as You modeled for us. Help me today, Holy Spirit, to be a new wineskin, living in the reality of being a new creation in Christ Jesus. Help me this day to stop looking in the rearview mirror by remembering that my old life has passed; the new is here! I pray, Abba Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
