When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch. He went in, shut the door on the two of them and prayed to the Lord. Then he got on the bed and lay on the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out on him, the boy’s body grew warm. Prayer of faith to God who can do the impossible  

Abba Father, I believe everything is possible with You. I kneel before You in the name of Jesus and pray in faith for the healing of family members who have cancer, friends who have suffered the loss of a loved one and my neighbors who are lost and need Jesus. I am reminded by Elisha that the earnest prayer of a godly person who fears You has great power and produces wonderful miracles. Holy Spirit, grant me an opportunity to earnestly pray with someone today who comes to me with problems and feels helpless. Use me to help remind them that God can do the impossible when we pray to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
