One day a man from Baal-shalishah brought the man of God a sack of fresh grain and twenty loaves of barley bread made from the first grain of his harvest. Elisha said, “Give it to the people so they can eat.”  “What?” his servant exclaimed. “Feed a hundred people with only this?” But Elisha repeated, “Give it to the people so they can eat, for this is what the Lord says: Everyone will eat, and there will even be some left over!”  And when they gave it to the people, there was plenty for all and some left over, just as the Lord had promised. 2 Kings 4:42-44 NIV

Almighty God, I praise You for being a caring Father who knows my every need and will sustain me when I have physical, spiritual, emotional, or mental needs. I place my trust in Jesus, the Living Bread of Heaven in whom I find plenty of love, plenty of joy, plenty of peace, plenty of patience, plenty of goodness, and plenty of hope. Teach me Holy Spirit to trust in the Lord by being content in whatever circumstance I'm in so I learn to not worry about having enough. Lead me to someone today who is weighed down by uncertainty and needs to trust in Jesus who can multiply the little they have and will supply all their needs. In His name I pray.
