This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord. 2 Kings 20:5 NIV

 

Thought: Jesus is the Great Physician who has come to heal me.   

 

Prayer for divine healing

Loving Father, I am encouraged to know that You hear my prayers, You see my tears, and You come to heal me. Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Great Physician and that there is no sickness or sorrow that Your wounds cannot heal. I pray for the healing of family members and friends who are battling physical sickness, emotional pain, and mental illness. Use me this day to help give hope to someone who needs to experience Your healing power. In Your mighty name I pray, Lord Jesus.
