“This will be your sign from God,” said Isaiah, “that God is doing what he said he’d do: Do you want the shadow to advance ten degrees on the sundial or go back ten degrees? You choose.” Hezekiah said, “It would be easy to make the sun’s shadow advance ten degrees. Make it go back ten degrees.” So Isaiah called out in prayer to God, and the shadow went back ten degrees on Ahaz’s sundial. 2 Kings 20:9-11 MSG

Prayer to trust in God when things aren't clear

Thank You loving Father for sending Jesus Christ, the Messiah as the sign from heaven that You are the living God who fulfills every word You promise. Help me overcome doubt by turning to prayer and placing my trust in You when I need clarity with decisions that I need to make. Holy Spirit, lead me to someone today who needs to be assured that God does wonders for those who trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
