Holy Scripture of the day about compassion

During those days another large crowd gathered. Since they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way, because some of them have come a long distance.  Mark 8:1-3 NIV


Truth: Jesus knows my needs and He cares about my sufferings.


Prayer to know the compassion of Jesus

You, O LORD, are a compassionate and gracious Savior, abounding in love and showing me great mercy. Thank You for being concerned in meeting all of my physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Holy Spirit, lead me to someone today who needs compassion so that through me they may experience the concern and love that Jesus has for them. I pray in His holy name. Amen
