What does it mean to have fellowship with God? Learn more

Holy Scripture for today about close fellowship with God

But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God. Genesis 6:8-9 NIV/NLT

Belief statement: My fellowship with God is my greatest priority in life.

Prayer to walk in close fellowship with God

Living Father, I come before Your throne of grace to thank You for the fellowship and inseparable relationship that I have with You through Christ Jesus. Like Noah, I recognize that the most important relationship I have is my fellowship with You. Holy Spirit, help me safeguard my alliance with God and teach me how to walk in close communion with Jesus by spending time in worship, prayer and reading the Bible. Lead someone across my path today who feels distant from the Lord and wants to experience fellowship with the Father by coming to Jesus who is The Way, Truth and Life. In His name I pray.
