Jesus said to her, “I AM the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in ME will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in ME will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26 NIV

Prayer to know the reality of the resurrection and the life that Jesus gives me

I bow before Your presence Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that You are the resurrection and the life. Living You loved me, dying You saved me, buried You carried my sins far away, rising You justified me freely forever, oh what a glorious day! I possess this day the hope of eternal life and stand upon Your triumphant victory on the cross of Calvary that saves me from the wages of sin, the fear of death, and the powers of darkness. Holy Spirit, lead me to someone today who is feeling conquered by the fear death. Use me to share with them the great news that Jesus is the Risen Lord who gives eternal life to all who believe in Him. Hallelujah!

To my loving and patient wife, Michele, my beloved son David, my radiant daughter-in-law Blair, my cherished son Joshua, my compassionate daughter Anna, my steadfast son-in-law, Jeff, my empathetic daughter Christina, my go-getter son-in-law Miles, my bright and persevering granddaughter, Blake, my beautiful and tenderhearted granddaughter, Zoey, my strong and handsome grandson, Wyatt, my tender-hearted and precious granddaughter Talia, my jubilant and adorable granddaughter, Romi, and to all of my caring family and faithful friends. I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I ask you to please forgive me if I've wronged any of you and did not ask for your forgiveness. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
