Just Believe - Mark 5:36

Holy promise of the day to believe when life seems impossible

While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?” Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” Mark 5: 35-36 NKJV

Belief: I believe Jesus can do the impossible and He will never abandon me in my time of need.

Prayer to believe in Jesus and not be afraid

I'm grateful Lord Jesus for the personal concern You have for me. Thank You for speaking words of hope to me in my darkest moments when all seems lost. I love You and place my trust in You. Holy Spirit, lead someone to me today who is afflicted with an illness or is mourning the death of a loved one. Use me to be a source of comfort by being sympathetic and spending time to listen and pray with them. In Jesus' mighty name.
