Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things. Mark 6:34 NLT


Belief: The Lord shows compassion because He cares for me.


Prayer to be compassionate like Jesus

Lord Jesus, give me a heart of compassion like Yours to see the pain and feel hurts of broken hearted people. Holy Spirit, teach me to be a compassionate Christian by caring for others in the same way that Jesus cares for me. Guide me to someone today who feels alone and is in need of compassion. Use me to be a source of comfort so that through my actions they may see the love of Jesus. I pray in Jesus' name.
