So he sent two of his disciples, telling them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him. Say to the owner of the house he enters, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.”The disciples left, went into the city and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover. Mark 14: 13-16 NIV

Prayer to trust and obey the voice of truth

I'm grateful Lord Jesus that every word which flows from Your lips is the voice of truth. You are a shield to all who put their trust in You. Holy Spirit, help me to trust and obey what Jesus tells me to do. Remind me that He is faithful in keeping true to all of His promises. Guide me to someone today who feels overwhelmed with uncertainty and needs to know there is a trustworthy Savior whose word they can rely on. In Jesus' mighty name.
