While he was eating, a woman came in with a beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume made from essence of nard. She broke open the jar and poured the perfume over his head. Prayer of thanks for being remembered

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for remembering me as a mother remembers her children. Knowing that You see and remember the things I do to honor Your name in the marketplace inspires me to keep doing good. Holy Spirit, deliver me from doing good deeds to be noticed or praised by people. Bring someone across my path today who feels forgotten by family or friends. Allow me to share this story so they know that what they do for Jesus will be remembered. In Jesus' name.
