But when the people of Israel cried out to the Lord for help, the Lord raised up a rescuer to save them. His name was Othniel, the son of Caleb’s younger brother, Kenaz. Judges 3:9


Belief: I will call upon Jesus who comes to my rescue.

 

Prayer of the day 

Thank You, Holy Father, for sending Jesus to be the great Rescuer. I need You, Lord Jesus, please come to my rescue. You alone can save me from the wages of sin and death. You alone are able to redeem my life from the pit of despair. Holy Spirit, guide someone across my path today who is in danger. Use me to point them to Jesus who is longing to rescue them from sin and shame. In Jesus' mighty name I pray.
