Prayer of the day to rely upon God and not myself or others  

Loving Father, thank You for placing me in situations that are beyond my mental, emotional and physical capabilities so I learn to rely upon You. I ask Your forgiveness for my self-reliance and believe with all of my heart that You are the God of wonders who raises the dead and does the impossible for those who trust in You. Holy Spirit, teach me to quickly turn to God in prayer when I face trouble. Lead me to people today that are relying upon themselves and feel overwhelmed with worry. Use me to help inspire them to trust in the God of miracles who can do the unthinkable. I pray for their faith to be revived in Jesus' mighty name.
