Just go down on your knees and worship me, and they’re yours.” Jesus’ refusal was curt: “Beat it, Satan!” He backed his rebuke with a third quotation from Deuteronomy: “Worship the Lord your God, and only Him. Serve him with absolute single-heartedness.” Matthew 4:8-10 MSG

Prayer of the day - Never forget God's benefits 

You alone, LORD GOD, are worthy to be worshipped, praised and adored. I bow before Your presence to say I love You and I worship You. I praise You for giving me the hope of eternal life through faith in Your precious Son, Christ Jesus, who destroyed the works of the devil at the cross of Calvary. Holy Spirit, please deliver me from hypocrisy and fill me with a passion to serve God with absolute singleness of heart. Lead me to someone today that believes the lie that worldly fame or material things bring satisfaction. Let me be a source of truth by pointing them to Jesus and explaining that God alone is worthy of our worship.
