For the Lord knows and is fully acquainted with the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly [those living outside God’s will] shall perish (end in ruin and come to nothing). Psalm 1:5 AMPC

Prayer of the day

Chart my path O LORD as I journey from earth to heaven. Holy Spirit, I pray for Your divine guidance in my life. Keep me on the narrow way that leads to God's eternal Kingdom. Teach me to pray and listen for Your direction every step of the way. Guide someone across my path today who is on the path of destruction and ruin. Use my care to be a spiritual influence in their life so they turn to Jesus who blazed the way to heaven for us. Save them in Jesus' name.
