God chose me in Christ Jesus before the foundation of the world, that I should be holy and without blame before Him in love. I am awestruck, Father God, by Your goodness and mercy. Thank You, for handpicking me like You did David for a life of purpose and eternal significance. Help me, Holy Spirit to embrace my identity as a child of God. Give me a passion like David and my Lord Jesus to have a good heart, so I learn to be a wise leader and an influential Christian to my family, friends, and coworkers. Lead someone across my path today who is struggling with understanding their calling and purpose in life. Use my care to open their ears to hear this wonderful promise of being chosen by God. I pray for their salvation in Jesus' mighty name.
