Day 2 - Christmas Tradition: Jesus was born to save you! - Luke 2:11

The word of hope for today about a Savior has been born to you - Read more about what does it mean that Jesus is the Savior?

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:8-12 NIV

Praise & Prayer

Dear Father, I praise You for sending Your angels to lowly shepherds on a dark night to hear the good news that 'a Savior (divine hero, deliverer, conqueror) has been born to you.' Please fill my heart Holy Spirit with great joy today by helping me remember that 'a Savior has been born to save me!' Grant me an opportunity this day to share the good news of my Messiah and Lord with someone who is grieving a loss and feels brokenhearted. I pray for their healing and salvation in Yeshua's mighty name.
