Lord Jesus, I kneel before Your holy presence to express my gratitude for taking my place on the cross of Calvary. I celebrate Your proclamation of victory on the cross when You shouted, "IT IS FINISHED!" You accomplished what no prophet, no superhero, or human being could ever do in paying the full price to save the world from the horrible wages of sin and death. When Satan and the powers of darkness heard Your cry, "IT IS FINISHED!" on Good Friday, they knew it was their fatal blow. I will forever treasure in my heart Your last words that fill my life with eternal hope. Hallelujah!
