POWER: The LORD JESUS gives you power over evil opposition - Mark 6:8

Jesus called the Twelve to Him, and sent them out in pairs. He gave them authority and power to deal with the evil opposition. He sent them off with these instructions:
“Don’t think you need a lot of extra equipment for this. You are the equipment. No special appeals for funds. Keep it simple.
“And no luxury inns. Get a modest place and be content there until you leave.
“If you’re not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way.” Mark 6:7-11

Infallible Truth

• "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be My witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 
• "A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:10-12

Praise & Prayer
I believe with all my heart, Lord Jesus, that all authority has been given to You in heaven and on earth. YOU are the ALMIGHTY SAVIOR who destroyed the powers of sin, death, and darkness at the cross. Thank You for calling me out of darkness and translating me into Your marvelous light. Send me this day with Your authority and power to battle against the impure spirits and the evil forces of this world that oppose Your truth and righteousness. Teach me, Holy Spirit, to trust in the LORD, not in myself, material things, others, or money. Use me this day to be a light of hope for someone who is depressed, battling an illness, has suffered a loss, or is a prisoner of the devil. Abba Father, I ask this in the powerful name of Jesus, my LORD.
