The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. Psalm 118:22-23 NKJV

What's the meaning of a Cornerstone? Since ancient times, builders have used cornerstones in their construction projects. A cornerstone was the principal stone, placed at the corner of an edifice, to guide the builders in their course. Without a solid cornerstone, a building or structure will collapse. The cornerstone was the largest, most trustworthy, and the most carefully constructed of any in the edifice. The Bible describes Jesus as the Cornerstone of His church (the body of believers) that would be built upon.

Praise & Prayer to build my life upon Jesus the Cornerstone

Lord Jesus, I praise You for being the Architect, Builder, and Cornerstone of my life. Without You, my life would collapse and be a total downfall. Please guide me, Holy Spirit, to someone today who has rejected Christ as their Cornerstone and is being shaken day after day with uncertainty and doubt. Use me to be a stabilizing influence by spending time reading the Bible and teaching them how to build and align their life upon Christ, our Chief Cornerstone. I pray in Jesus' mighty name.

I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
