Jesus traveled to Nazareth, the town where he grew up. On the Sabbath day, He went to the synagogue as He always did. He stood up to read. The book of Isaiah the prophet was given to Him. He opened the book and found the place where this is written: “The Spirit of the Lord is on Me. He has chosen Me to tell good news to the poor. He sent Me to tell prisoners that they are free and to tell the blind that they can see again. HE SENT ME TO FREE THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN TREATED BADLY and to announce that the time has come for the Lord to show His kindness.” Luke 4:16-19 ERV
Quote: "True freedom through Christ Jesus does not mean you are free to do whatever is right in your own eyes; He frees you from a life of demonic bondage and sin, so you use your liberty to please God by serving others." - Hector Perez
Praise for my liberty & Prayer for freedom
I declare this day, Lord Jesus, my independence from demonic forces. I am grateful for Your unfailing love and undaunted determination to set humanity free from the devil who holds society captive and seeks to destroy every living soul created by God. Thank You for setting me free from the powers of darkness and the wages of sin! Thank You for being the Supreme Judge of the world who is perfectly just and entirely righteous. I praise You for the courageous men and women who stood up against a tyrannical monarch and risked their lives to birth the United States of America. Holy Spirit, as we celebrate the birthday of our county, please inspire me to be a Christian of honorable character by being loving, respectful, and compassionate to family members and people in the marketplace who are enchained by fear and disbelief that steers them to the valley of hopelessness. I pray for their salvation from the powers of darkness in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Please take 10-minutes to listen to the Declaration of Independence that will bless your mind and heart.
