PROVISION: The LORD will provide everything you need - Psalm 144:13

The word of life for today about the LORD will provide everything you need.

Our barns will be filled with every kind of provision. Our sheep will increase by thousands, by tens of thousands in our fields. Psalm 144:13 NIV

Praise & Prayer for God's provision

Loving Father, once I was young, and now I am old. Yet, I have never been abandoned by You nor seen my children begging for bread. I bow to praise You for the miracle of my salvation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus, as I look back on life, I've witnessed the innumerable times You have been incredibly generous by blessing me with more than I could ever ask, think, or deserve. I recall Your faithfulness in times of scarcity and benevolence in times of abundance. Please guide me, Holy Spirit, to someone who has an impoverished soul and is physically destitute. Use my care to help open their eyes to see how God loves them and will provide for all of their needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. I pray for their salvation in Jesus' mighty name.

My Departing Words

To my loving and patient wife, Michele, my beloved son David, my radiant daughter-in-law Blair, my cherished son Joshua, my compassionate daughter Anna, my steadfast son-in-law, Jeff, my empathetic daughter Christina, my go-getter son-in-law Miles, my bright and persevering granddaughter, Blake, my beautiful and tenderhearted granddaughter, Zoey, my strong and handsome grandson, Wyatt, my tender-hearted and precious granddaughter Talia, my jubilant and adorable granddaughter, Romi, and to all of my caring family and faithful friends. I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I ask you to please forgive me if I've wronged any of you and did not ask for your forgiveness. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
