You are coming to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God’s temple. He was rejected by people, but He was chosen by God for great honor. And you are living stones that God is building into His spiritual temple. What’s more, you are His holy priests. Through the mediation of Jesus Christ, you offer spiritual sacrifices that please God. 1 Peter 2:4-5 NLT

Truth: "A priest of God is not being ritualistic, it's being an authentic worshipper of God who pleases Him by ministering to people, and pointing them to faith in the Chief Cornerstone."

Praise & Prayer to be a priest of God

As I read this promise, Holy Father, I feel humbled to be identified as one of Your holy priests through Christ, the living Cornerstone. I would never have been deemed worthy of being a priest if it were not for the mediation and eternal victory Jesus accomplished at the cross of Calvary. Please help me Holy Spirit to be a God pleasing priest who offers spiritual sacrifices of ceaseless thanksgiving, cares for hurting people, and points lost souls to faith in Christ Jesus, our Great High Priest and Wonderful Savior. I pray in His holy and mighty name, amen.
