Praise & Prayer for our Mid-Term Elections today
My heart is at peace, O LORD, because I trust in Your Sovereignty. I believe with all of my heart that You control the course of events, including our country's elections. As You heard King Solomon's prayer and told him that if Your people, who are called by Your name, would humble themselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways, then You will hear from heaven, and You will forgive our sin and will heal our land. Please forgive our iniquities and let Your ears be attentive to the prayers offered by faithful followers of Christ Jesus. We ask You to remove corrupt political leaders who reject Your Word and love darkness. Please raise and set political leaders in positions of power who fear You, love You, and put the needs of people above their own. I pray in the mighty name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ our Savior.
